Started like this
It had the spare on it, which was full sized, and we took the rim from the bad tire and put it on a good one and now it looks better.
She still needs a good washing though, especially with all the salt.

Yeah, it's a 2000 Infiniti I30, essentially a fancier Nissan Maxima. They were sold in Japan Cefiro, and as a Maxima in Europe and Australia.
But yes, in my mind, it's quite an elegant vehicle. Has almost all the bells and whistles you could imagine in a car from that time. The only features it seemed to be missing are heated seats, GPS, and a six-CD changer, which were all available, but this car isn't equipped with.
But it does have dual power leather seats, a Bose stereo, sunroof, alloy wheels, and a rear sunshade. It's really nice all around.

It sounds really nice and luxurious! Is this car fwd (because I think the maxima was)
Also is this car a VIP luxobarge car like say a Lexus GS300 or is it not as 'high class' as that?(I don't know how to word it better)

It really is luxurious. And yes, it unfortunately is RWD, unlike my previous Infiniti, which was a J30, that one was RWD.
I would say that it's not quite on the level of the Lexus. The GS300 in 2000 sold new for $38k, while the I30, equipped comparatively, would have been right around $30k. But depreciation seems to have hit hard as well on the Infiniti. I got it for $800, with 250k miles on it. Average price for those is around $2000-$3000 depending on condition with that mileage, and mine needs a few hundred in small parts to pass inspection. Mainly, control arm, tie rod end, cv boot, brake rotors, just generally small things that add up.
I mean, it's a midsize (definitely not as big as the Q45 that slotted above it), and it is a luxury car. I'd say it's near luxobarge level. It looks sharp, and it's very refined, but not to the point of some of those other high class vehicles, but it is still up there in quality, and they're definitely reliable vehicles.
